For years, I lived with the pain of being denied what I knew was rightfully mine. After my father passed away, a dispute over family land began almost immediately.
Relatives I trusted suddenly changed. Meetings were held without me, decisions were made behind my back, and before I knew it, I was being told I had no claim at all.
They said I had no right. Those words cut deep because I knew the truth. I had grown up on that land. I had helped my father work on it.

But when it came to sharing, I was pushed aside like I didn’t matter. Every time I tried to speak up, I was silenced or ignored.
