In a strongly worded statement shared on her social media pages on Thursday, January 29, the outspoken legislator described the allegations as false and driven by misinformation spread online.
Kihara said she had noticed what she termed as persistent attacks from bloggers, accusing them of assuming that all politicians can be bought using money.
She insisted that her political values are not up for sale and warned those spreading the rumours to stop dragging her name into fabricated narratives.
“For avoidance of doubt, I left the lying camp a long time ago, and I never left anything there that can make me go back,” she stated, firmly rejecting claims of any political defection.
