Family and friends of 23-year-old Ann Muthoni Ngunjiri are demanding justice after her death in Kayole, Nairobi, in a case that has shocked residents and raised concerns about domestic violence and accountability.
Muthoni’s body was discovered inside her apartment by her roommate, Lucia Wambui, who had returned home and found the door locked from inside.
According to reports, Wambui initially believed her friend was asleep but quickly realized something was wrong and raised the alarm.
