Amount of Money Njugush & Wakavinye Were Getting Per Day From Their Joint Matatu Business

For the better part of Wednesday, 22, April, 2026, name of Timothy Kimani popularly known as Njugush and his wife Celestine Ndinda famously known as Wakavinye made headlines across various social media platforms, after the couple announced their unexpected split, after more than a decade of marriage.

Upon making their untimely announcement, news made headlines yet again on the list of multi-million properties that were jointly owned by the couple, since their rise to limelight and rosy days that started back in college.

According to a report published by Tuko news, after making a solid foundation in marriage, Njugush and his baby mama Wakavinye ventured into the transport business in April 2024, with a common dream of expanding their empire.

With the amount of millions that Njugush was generating from the funny content he was creating for his ardent supporters, he was able to purchase a modern 33-seater Matatu, which he later named after his firstborn son Tugi. At that time, love was still solid.

Months after the bold move, their inspiring venture into the matatu business appeared to be doing well, prompting the couple to invest in a second matatu, which they registered under the Super Metro sacco. Out of love, they named their second matatu Toria, in honour of their second born son.

In regards the matter, it has now been established that from the two matatus, the duo were making at least Ksh 10,000 per day from the inspiring venture, thus serving as an extra source of income to their young family.

However, following their untimely split, fireworks is set to be witnessed in the upcoming days, after Wakavinye allegedly filed a case at the corridors of law, seeking to have a rightful share of the properties she had acquired with Njugush, in the 14 years that they endured while rising from grass to grace.
