Heartbreaking Moments as Nayianoi Ntutu Ngeno Break Down Viewing Body of Late Hon. Ng’eno

Naiyanoi Ntutu Ngeno, wife of the late Hon. Johana Ng’eno, and members of the extended family are at Lee Funeral Home viewing the bodies of the deceased. Emotions ran high as relatives gathered to mourn their loved ones.

The solemn moment allowed family members to pay their final respects and find some closure amid the tragedy. Tears and quiet prayers filled the room as mourners struggled to come to terms with the loss.

Clergy were present, offering spiritual support and guiding prayers for the departed souls. 

Their presence provided comfort to the grieving family, helping them navigate the emotional intensity of the moment. 

Friends, community leaders, and close associates joined the family, standing in solidarity. 

Many expressed shock and sadness over the incident, underscoring the profound impact on the local community and political circles.

The viewing at Lee Funeral Home precedes the joint requiem mass scheduled at Africa Gospel Church (AGC) in Karen. 

The service is being organised collaboratively by Parliament and the bereaved families.

High-profile leaders, including Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, National Assembly Speaker Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, and Senate Speaker Hon. Mason Kingi, are expected to attend the church service. 

Their attendance reflects Hon. Ng’eno’s national stature and public service.

On Thursday, five victims will be transported to Emurua Dikirr Primary School for a joint memorial service. An overnight vigil will also be held at Hon. Ng’eno’s home, allowing the community to pay tribute.

The official funeral service will take place on Friday, 6th March 2026, at Emurua Dikirr Primary School. His Excellency the President and top government leaders are expected to grace the ceremony.

Following the funeral, Hon. Ng’eno will be laid to rest, with his staff scheduled for interment on the same day. 

Preparations are underway to accommodate thousands of mourners and dignitaries.

Messages of condolence continue to pour in from political, religious, and social sectors. 

Tributes emphasize Hon. Ng’eno’s dedication to public service, his leadership, and his contributions to the community.

The week of mourning is set to honour Hon. Ng’eno’s legacy and provide closure for his family, colleagues, and the wider community. 

The nation mourns a respected leader whose loss has left a deep void.
