The Migasha family is demanding the swift arrest and prosecution of a military officer identified as Nicholas Njue Ireri, who is alleged to have fatally assaulted their relative at an entertainment venue on 22 December 2025.
Investigators confirmed that CCTV footage from the premises captured the suspect confronting and violently attacking Migasha before walking away from the scene.
Medical findings have now established the cause of death.
A postmortem conducted by government pathologist Johansen Oduor revealed that Migasha died from a blood clot in the lung which developed as a result of severe injuries sustained during the assault.
The examination further showed broken limbs, chest trauma and internal injuries consistent with a brutal beating.
Following the incident, Migasha was rushed to hospital, where his condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to his death.
The suspect is reported to have fled and remains at large despite the availability of video evidence and witness accounts.
The deceased mother has expressed frustration over delays in the arrest as the family continues to seek justice.
She maintained that the injuries directly caused her son's death and appealed for urgent intervention by homicide detectives now handling the case.
Police have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the suspect.
Authorities have assured the family that all available evidence, including CCTV footage, medical reports and witness statements, is being reviewed to ensure accountability.
Migasha's relatives described him as a hard-working family pillar whose death has left a deep void as calls grow for transparency and action in the case.
