Security Guard Manning Eagol Petrol Station Where Cyrus Jorongo Met His Death Fired By Company

Ephraim Epitek, a security guard who was the only known eyewitness to the tragic death of Cyrus Jorongo, has reportedly lost his job after speaking to the media about what he saw on the day of the accident.

Ephraim was working as a guard at Eagol Petrol Station in Karai, located along the busy Naivasha–Nairobi Highway, when the fatal incident occurred.

According to reports, Ephraim was on duty when Cyrus Jorongo was involved in a deadly road accident that resulted in his death.

The accident is said to have occurred after a head-on collision between Jorongo’s vehicle and a Climax Coach bus near the petrol station.

The crash caused shock and panic among motorists and residents in the area, as the highway is known for heavy traffic and frequent accidents.

After the incident, Ephraim spoke to journalists and shared what he witnessed.

He explained the events leading up to the collision and described the moments after the crash, including efforts by members of the public to help before emergency services arrived.

His account quickly gained public attention, as many Kenyans were seeking clarity on how the accident happened.

However, shortly after giving interviews to the media, Ephraim was allegedly dismissed from his job by the security company that had deployed him at the petrol station.

Sources indicate that the company accused him of speaking to the media without authorization.

The decision to fire him has sparked public debate, with many people questioning whether it was fair to punish a worker for telling the truth about a tragic incident.

Despite losing his job, Ephraim has remained calm and positive. In statements shared by people close to him, the security guard said he does not regret speaking out.

He maintained that he only shared what he saw and felt it was important for the public to know the truth surrounding the accident that claimed a life.

The death of Cyrus Jorongo has continued to raise questions, especially regarding road safety along the Naivasha–Nairobi Highway.
