In a touching moment shared by Shiru Wa GP, the final words of Sky Victor to her mother, the late Betty Bayo, have been revealed.
The heart-wrenching story unfolded during a gathering with friends and family as they planned for Betty’s burial, following her tragic battle with cancer.
Shiru, a close friend of Betty’s and a well-known Kikuyu gospel singer, recounted how important it was for Sky to be supportive during her mother's illness.
In a deeply emotional account, she described how Sky tried to comfort her mother during her last moments.
According to Shiru, Sky became alarmed when she noticed her mother was not feeling well.
On the night when Betty's health took a turn for the worse, she saw her trying to get out of bed. Betty had been struggling with her condition and felt weak.
As she began to bleed, Sky quickly realized something was wrong and jumped into action.
"Sky asked her, 'Mum, where are you going?'" Shiru said, recalling the urgency of the moment.

Sky then found the car keys and honked the horn to alert their neighbors.
Her quick thinking brought help, and a neighbor rushed over to assist them. Soon after, Betty was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital.
While in the ambulance, Sky had a moment to speak directly to her mother.
“She told Betty, ‘Mum, I know you’re afraid, but you are going to fight this cancer, and you’re going to be okay,’” Shiru recounted.
Sky knelt in the ambulance and prayed to God, asking for healing for her mother.
Despite the family's hopes, Betty was admitted to the hospital but could not receive the treatment she desperately needed in time.
Tragically, she passed away shortly after being admitted, leaving Sky and her siblings heartbroken.
Shiru emphasized how important it is to remember Betty's spirit and the love she shared with her children.
Now, as the family comes to terms with their profound loss, Shiru has stepped in to support Sky and her siblings.
"I promised Betty I would always be there for them," she said, reflecting on her commitment to the family during this difficult time.
