Speculations As Each Kenyan Is Urged To Write A Will Now, Reasons Revealed

A recent message shared by Wahome Thuku has stirred conversations across the country as he urged Kenyans to take the simple but often ignored step of writing a Will. His call was firm and practical.

He noted that many families fall into conflict after the death of a loved one because nothing was written to guide them. According to him, a Will is not only about property.

It also explains who should take care of the children, who should make burial arrangements, and how the final rites should be handled.

Wahome stressed that without clear instructions, relatives are left to argue over decisions that could have been settled long before.

He observed that some families fight over the grave site, others disagree about who should lead the ceremony, while others are left struggling to pay for a coffin or service simply because the deceased never left any plan.

His message was a reminder that a Will is not reserved for wealthy people.

Anyone with children, personal items, or wishes about their final day can prepare one. He encouraged Kenyans to treat it as an act of care for those they leave behind.

In his view, writing a Will brings order, dignity, and peace to a difficult moment.
