Homabay Town Member of Parliament, Peter Kaluma, has predicted a big win for President William Ruto in the fast approaching 2027 election.
According to Kaluma, this will be partly because of DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua's emergence as the leader of those trying to unseat Ruto.
Painting Gachagua as largely unwanted, he has predicted that with him as the opposition candidate, Kenyans will run to the other side.
Consequently, he has foreseen a 6-1 score in 2027, predicting that only the Mt Kenya region will remain in the opposition, with all others voting for Ruto.
"With Gachagua as the centerpiece of the “united opposition”, President William Ruto will cruise through the next presidential election with his eyes closed," says the parliamentarian.
"Nyanza, Western, Rift Valley, Eastern, North Eastern and Coast regions will vote together in 2027."
This is after Gachagua, while speaking Tuesday night, said he will be in the ballot and is confident of defeating his former boss; Ruto.
The two have been at war since last year, following Gachagua's Impeachment as Deputy President, which he believes was sponsored by Ruto.
