Mudavadi further hit out at Ruto's opponents, especially Jubilee Party Deputy Leader Fred Matiang'i, for positioning himself as among the Head of State's biggest critics.
"Where does Matiang'i get the moral authority to challenge the government when he has many questions to answer? Kenyans have not forgotten how hundreds of bodies were found in River Yala during his term."
He termed the Western Kenya region as among Matiang'i's victims when he was in office, claiming that he turned down requests to give Malava Constituency 2 divisions.
Mudavadi said it is only after Ruto came in that this was granted.
