Luo Nyanza Told to be Careful With Ruto, Informed What he Did to Raila While Still Alive

Wiper leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, has urged the Luo Nyanza region to be careful with President William Ruto and watch out for what he claimed is pretence.

He has told the region to be on the look out to avoid falling into Ruto's trap of using former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to win it's support.

According to him, Ruto's claims of having been Raila's friend while alive are lies, only aimed at helping him win over the region's liking.

He said that rather, Ruto was not at all kind to the former ODM Party Leader, and made it a habit to insult and demean him whenever he got the chance.

“You, the people of Luo Nyanza, from Siaya and Homa Bay to Kisumu, know very well that Ruto cannot claim to be Raila’s friend," he is quoted by the People Daily.

"He is the same person who used to insult Baba by calling him a witchdoctor," he said during a campaign rally in Siaya County on Saturday.

Kalonzo said that it is him who was Raila's closest political ally, in reference to their political journey which began in 2013, up until 2022, with him supporting 3 of Raila's presidential bids.

The former Vice President urged the region to shift it's support to him, declaring his readiness to take over from where the departed politician left.

 “You people are at the forefront of defending our democracy and since Baba has rested, I am his kid brother. Those of you who are still mourning should stop because I am here for you. We will get to Canaan."
