Otiende Leaks: Ruto Suspends 2027 Dialogue With Oburu As He Demands Party Purge For Cabinet Continue

A fresh wave of political intrigue has gripped the country following claims that William Ruto has suspended ongoing 2027 dialogue efforts with Oburu Oginga, exposing widening cracks within the fragile working relationship between the government and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

The reported fallout, linked to concerns raised by Otiende Amollo, signals a major shift in political strategy as the country inches closer to the next general election. 

At the center of the dispute is an alleged directive from State House requiring senior ODM figures serving in government, including John Mbadi, to step down from their party roles.

The move has sparked sharp reactions within ODM, with leaders interpreting it as a calculated attempt to weaken the party’s internal structure and force key figures into full alignment with the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA). 

Critics argue that such a directive risks dismantling the balance that has sustained the broad-based government arrangement.
