RIP: Beautiful Photos Of KMTC Student Who Was Killed By CS Aden Duale's Speeding Car

Shock and deep sorrow have engulfed residents of Kisumu and Siaya counties following the tragic death of a young Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student who lost her life in a road accident involving the speeding convoy of Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale.

The victim, 21-year-old Rose Olang'o, had recently completed her studies in Clinical Medicine and Surgery at KMTC Kisumu campus and was eagerly waiting to graduate. Her sudden death has left her family, friends and classmates devastated.

According to reports, the accident occurred at the Otonglo area along the busy Kisumu–Busia road. The convoy was reportedly heading toward Kisumu International Airport after attending a thanksgiving ceremony in Rarieda, Siaya County.

Witnesses who were at the scene claimed the convoy was moving at high speed when the tragic incident happened.

Several pedestrians and boda boda riders were reportedly knocked down during the chaos, leading to multiple casualties.

Sadly, three people died in the accident while several others sustained injuries, causing panic and shock among residents who rushed to the scene to help the victims.

Rose had reportedly left Kisumu town earlier that day to assist her father, Henry Olang'o, at Otonglo Market where he sells clothes and traditional sandals.

Unfortunately, she never reached the market as she was caught in the tragic accident along the road.

Her father narrated that he received a phone call informing him that his daughter had been involved in a serious accident.

The shocking news left the family in disbelief since Rose had been healthy and hopeful about her future.

He explained that the family had worked hard for many years to educate her and she was seen as the pillar of hope who would uplift the family once she began her medical career.

Her mother, Hellen Awino, said she had been waiting to meet her daughter at Kibuye Market before she received the heartbreaking news that changed everything.

When the parents arrived at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, they reportedly searched through the wards hoping to find their daughter among the injured.

However, hospital staff later directed them to the mortuary where they painfully confirmed that the body belonged to Rose.

Family members revealed that the young woman had completed her course only two weeks earlier and was preparing to start her journey in the medical profession.

Although Health CS Aden Duale reportedly promised support to the victims following the accident, the grieving family says they have not yet received any assistance.

They are now appealing for help from well-wishers and leaders so they can give their beloved daughter a dignified send-off.

As the community continues to mourn, many Kenyans have expressed sympathy to the family while calling for greater road safety and accountability.

RIP Rose Olang'o. Your dreams were cut short too soon. 🙏🕊️
