BREAKING NEWS: Former Uhuru's CS Raphael Tuju Goes Missing, Family Raises Alarm After His Car Found Abandoned in Karen

Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has reportedly gone missing, sparking concern among his family, friends, and political circles across Nairobi. 

The family confirmed the worrying development on Sunday, March 22, stating that all efforts to reach him had failed.

According to a family spokesperson, Tuju was last seen on Saturday while heading to what was described as an important interview. 

However, it remains unclear whether he ever made it to the planned engagement. His sudden disappearance has left many questions unanswered, especially given his recent public appearances and ongoing legal battles.

Tuju’s son, Mano Tuju, revealed that concern began to grow after repeated calls to his father’s phone went unanswered. 

The situation escalated further when the family decided to involve authorities after hours of unsuccessful attempts to trace him.

In a shocking twist, Mano received a call from the Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at Karen Police Station on Sunday morning. 

The officer informed him that Tuju’s vehicle had been discovered abandoned along Miotoni Lane in the upscale Karen area.

The discovery has intensified fears over his safety, with investigators now trying to piece together his last known movements.

The disappearance comes at a time when Tuju has been making headlines over a long-standing property dispute involving his prime land in Karen.

The former Jubilee Party Secretary General has been battling a high-stakes court case over the possible auction of his properties, a situation that recently led to a dramatic eviction from his residence.

In a recent interview with NTV, Tuju opened up about the history of his Karen property, explaining that he acquired the land over 40 years ago through a loan from the National Bank of Kenya.

He detailed how he struggled financially at the time, even selling his personal car to raise part of the purchase amount.

Despite the financial disputes, Tuju maintained that he was willing to settle all outstanding debts, provided there was transparency in the process.

As investigations continue, Kenyans are anxiously waiting for updates on his whereabouts. His disappearance has not only raised security concerns but also added a new layer of mystery to his already complex legal and financial struggles.
