As Ruto was greeting the above mentioned leaders and a faction of people from Meru County at that time, one lady boldly told him that she has no job. She went ahead and said in Swahili language "Tumekaa kwa baridi" meaning, her together with a number of people from the said region have jobs, they are suffering in the cold. The lady said. She also showed Ruto her UDA outfit that she has put on, on this day.
When Ruto heard that, he immediately answered her. Ruto responded in Swahili language saying," Tutapangana" this means, the head of state promised her to keep calm as he will look into that matter and possibly decides on how to assist her. The lady made this statement in presence of Deputy President Prof. Kindiki, Governor for Meru County H.E. Mutuma M'Ethingia among others.
