Ruto Responds to a Lady in Meru After Telling Him She Has No Job "Tumekaa Kwa Baridi"

President William Ruto is currently in Meru County for matters Nyota Project, a Government project meant to empower young men and women economically. Upon him touching down, he was received by his Deputy Prof. Abraham Kithure Kindiki. Immediately after the head of state greeted Kindiki, he went straight to greet a battery of leaders who had gathered there to receive him.

As Ruto was greeting the above mentioned leaders and a faction of people from Meru County at that time, one lady boldly told him that she has no job. She went ahead and said in Swahili language "Tumekaa kwa baridi" meaning, her together with a number of people from the said region have jobs, they are suffering in the cold. The lady said. She also showed Ruto her UDA outfit that she has put on, on this day.

When Ruto heard that, he immediately answered her. Ruto responded in Swahili language saying," Tutapangana" this means, the head of state promised her to keep calm as he will look into that matter and possibly decides on how to assist her. The lady made this statement in presence of Deputy President Prof. Kindiki, Governor for Meru County H.E. Mutuma M'Ethingia among others.
