Governor Mutahi Kahiga Reacts as Truphena is Set to Join Mt. Kenya University, Reveals What She is Pursuing

Nyeri County Governor Mutahi Kahiga met with environmental advocate Truphena Muthoni at his office.

The Governor said this was their third meeting since her 72-hour tree-hugging feat gained national attention.

The meeting focused on Muthoni's enrollment at Mount Kenya University, where she'll pursue International Relations, and her appointment by President William Ruto as ambassador for the 15 Billion Tree Planting Campaign.

Muthoni shared insights into upcoming environment-focused projects, to be unveiled soon.

Governor Kahiga praised Muthoni's leadership and environmental advocacy, saying she's putting Nyeri County on the national map.

He assured support for her initiatives, stating, "We are proud of Truphena Muthoni's leadership and environmental advocacy, putting Nyeri County on the national map. We'll support her initiatives."
