Ruto Shaken as Orengo BOLDLY Warns Mbadi-Oburu over Blind BBG Praise Trap in Migori

Siaya Governor James Orengo has sent shockwaves through the political landscape by openly challenging top ODM leaders during a high-stakes visit to Migori.

He warned Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi and Senator Oburu Odinga against offering "blind praise" to President William Ruto’s broad-based administration.

This courageous move highlights a growing rift within the Orange party over its controversial and opaque partnership with the ruling government.

At the heart of Orengo’s message is a fierce demand for total party autonomy. He argues that while the "Broad-Based Government" might offer temporary perks to a few elites, ODM must never sacrifice its identity or its role as the primary voice of the people.

For Orengo, principled engagement is the only way to ensure the party remains a formidable and independent force in the next general election.

The governor believes that excessive flattery of the current regime is a dangerous trap designed to weaken the opposition from within.

By cautioning his colleagues, he is attempting to prevent the party from being swallowed by the Kenya Kwanza political machine.

This internal resistance serves as a critical wake-up call to those who believe ODM has completely abandoned its constitutional oversight duties.

In contrast, leaders like Oburu Odinga and John Mbadi emphasize the importance of strategic unity to deliver development to their regional strongholds.

They believe that working closely with President Ruto is a practical necessity for the economic growth of the Nyanza region.

This clash between Orengo’s idealism and Mbadi’s pragmatism is now the central conflict defining the party's future trajectory.

As 2027 approaches, this internal struggle will determine whether ODM remains a united house or fractures into rival factions.

The "Migori warning" suggests that the battle for the soul of the party has only just begun.

How the leadership resolves these deep ideological tensions will ultimately decide if they enter the next polls as loyal partners or as fierce rivals to the current regime.
