RIP: Last Painful Words Presenter Amimo Told His Mother Before He Died In Nairobi Lodging

The death of veteran presenter Festus Amimo has continued to send shock waves across the media industry and among his supporters in the Luo community.

The Mayienga FM head collapsed and died on December 7 inside a lodging in Nairobi.

His family is still finalising burial plans as more emotional details emerge about his final days.

Amimo’s mother left many people in tears after sharing a conversation she had with her son shortly before his death.

She recalled that he had said there would be another man who would follow Baba and that he had insisted he was not lying.

Relatives and neighbours who were present said the mother appeared strong but deeply hurt as she remembered her son’s words.

Several ODM leaders visited the family home in Awasi to comfort his widow and his mother.

The deceased was expecting his fourth child, and his wife was seen mourning heavily as neighbours and friends gathered around her with support.

A neighbour also shared warm memories of the presenter, saying he loved to spend time with his wife and often kept a quiet life when off duty.

The family said they never expected to lose him so soon because he had left home in good health.

As tributes continue to flow, many are still wondering whether Festus had a premonition about his own death.

His mother said she would keep praying for strength as the family prepares to lay him to rest.
