Revealed: This is What Kanze Dena is Doing Now After Leaving State House

Though it is now almost three years since she left State House, former Citizen TV news anchor Kanze Dena remains a very influential figure around retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Dena made history as the first female State House spokesperson following her appointment to the position by Uhuru in 2018. She succeeded Manoah Esipisu, who was handed ambassadorial appointment.

The renowned former Kiswahili news anchor had made a name for herself as one of the best in the country. It is no doubt that State House came calling for her services.

Even after leaving State House, Dena has retained the trust of the former President, who has maintained her as his spokesperson.

On her social media pages, Dena has been posting the activities of the former President, who is also Kenya's special envoy to the Great Lakes Region.

At the time Uhuru had pension issues with the President William Ruto regime, Dena was forced to call a presser to express her frustrations over the government handling of the former President's office.

Today, she uses her Facebook page to share Uhuru's programmes even as she manages his communication desk.
