New CCTV Footage Shows Armed Boda Boda Thugs Storming Wines and Spirits Shop in Kasarani

Newly released CCTV footage has revealed fresh details about a shocking robbery that took place at a wines and spirits shop on the ground floor of Oak Apartments in Kasarani.

The video, captured from a different angle, shows the exact moment two armed men arrived at the shop on a boda boda before violently forcing their way inside.

According to the footage, the boda boda rider slowed down outside the shop at around the time several customers were relaxing and enjoying their drinks outside the premises.

Without giving any warning, the two assailants jumped off the motorcycle while already holding weapons. One appeared to be armed with a pistol, while the other carried a blunt object.

The video shows the armed men moving quickly and aggressively toward the entrance of the wines and spirits shop.

Startled patrons sitting outside can be seen freezing for a moment before running in different directions as the thugs shouted and waved their weapons to scare them.

Some customers abandoned their drinks on the tables as they scrambled for safety. A few even fell while trying to escape the chaos.

Inside the shop, the attackers stormed behind the counter where the cashier was standing. They forcefully ordered everyone to lie down before ransacking drawers and shelves.

The CCTV clip shows the suspects grabbing cash, mobile phones, and other valuables before stuffing them into a bag they had carried.

The entire robbery lasted only a few minutes, but the level of fear and tension captured in the footage was intense.

Residents and business owners within Oak Apartments say the area has seen a rise in similar attacks in recent weeks, raising concerns over the safety of customers and shop attendants who work late into the night.

Some tenants reported hearing screams during the incident but were too afraid to intervene, fearing the attackers were armed and dangerous.

Police in Kasarani have confirmed that they are reviewing all available CCTV footage from nearby buildings to identify the suspects.

They believe the boda boda used in the robbery may have been stolen or carrying fake number plates.
