Ibrahim Mohammed: What Supreme Court Judge Was Allegedly Advised by Indian Medics Before he Breathed Last

On Wednesday 17th, December, 2025, news hit headlines across various social media platforms, after the untimely death of Supreme Court Judge Ibrahim Mohammed, was revealed to the public, by the Judiciary.

While making the revelation, the Judiciary disclosed that before Judge Ibrahim Mohammed breathed last, he had endured a long battle with illness that not only kept him out of the corridors of justice, but also made him go missing out of the public eyesight.

Before he passed away at around 4:30pm, late Ibrahim Mohammed had been admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital, were he was receiving treatment.

Prior to that, Judge Ibrahim Mohammed had been evacuated to India where he was receiving specialized from the Indian specialists seeking to restore his health.

However, while he was in India, his health rapidly deteriorated and that forced the Indian medics to place him under the Intensive Care Unit ICU hoping that his health would improve.

As disclosed by one of his family members, when Judge Ibrahim Mohammed's health failed to improve, Indian medics advised him to return back to Kenya for his last days.

Instead of keeping him at home, his family saw it wise to have him admitted at the Aga Khan Hospital where he died at the age of 69.

Ibrahim Mohammed untimely death has not only left the entire Nation in grief, but his absence will surely be felt at the corridors of law where he served many Kenyans before he died.
