"His Vote Was Just One" Wamae Fires Back At Those Blaming Uhuru For Not Making Raila President, Reveals Who Is To Blame

“Uhuru didn’t make Raila president” and other stories. Hold on; votes were meant to make him president; Uhuru’s vote was just one.

That is the clear message Justina Wamae is pushing, and it has started fresh talk in Kenyan politics.

Wamae said many people like to say that former President Uhuru Kenyatta is the one who made Raila Odinga big in politics. She said that story is wrong and lazy. According to her, Kenya is a voting country.

Leaders are chosen by votes, not by handshakes or friendships. Uhuru, she said, had only one vote like any other Kenyan. He did not have ten million votes in his pocket.

She said when people claim Uhuru made Raila, they are insulting voters. Millions of Kenyans woke up early, queued for hours, and voted.

Those people did not vote because Uhuru told them to. They voted because they believed in Raila or his ideas. Wamae said removing voters from the story is a big lie.

Wamae also said this story is used as an excuse. When Raila loses, people say it is because Uhuru failed him. When Raila wins in some areas, they still say it is Uhuru’s hand.

She said this thinking is very dangerous because it kills the power of the vote. It makes people feel their vote does not matter.

She added that politics should move forward. Leaders should talk about jobs, food prices, health, and schools. Instead, people are busy blaming Uhuru for everything.

Wamae said Kenya cannot move forward if leaders keep fighting old wars and old alliances.

She was clear that Raila has his own supporters. These supporters have stood with him for many years, even before Uhuru.

They did not appear because of one handshake. They are real people with real votes. Ignoring them is refusing to respect democracy.

Wamae said no single person can make another person president. Not Uhuru, not Raila, not anyone.

A president is made by votes. One person has one vote. That is how it should be. Kenya belongs to voters, not political godfathers.
