Gachagua Alleges Name of Killer Squad Tasked to Abduct Gen-Zs, Tables Demand to Ruto

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has issued a hard-hitting statement calling on Inspector General of Police Kanja to immediately advise President William Ruto to disband what he alleges is the shadowy “101 killer squad.”

According to Gachagua, this covert unit has been linked to a series of abductions and killings targeting innocent Kenyans, and he insists the country cannot afford to slide back into an era of fear and state-sponsored intimidation.

Gachagua’s remarks come just days after Sunday’s chaotic scenes in Kariobangi North, where goons attacked a church service he was attending, forcing him to cut short his address.

He claims the incident is part of a wider pattern of intimidation meant to silence independent political voices ahead of the 2027 elections.

In his statement, he urged the police leadership to remain loyal to the constitution rather than political interests, warning that Kenyans will hold them accountable for any abuses under their watch.

He further alleged that the 101 squad operates outside the law, and disbanding it would restore public trust in the security sector.

Gachagua vowed to continue speaking out, saying the safety and dignity of Kenyans must never be sacrificed for political expediency.
