Through a lengthy video that he posted on his X platform on Wednesday December 24, 2025, Kasmuel McOure called upon Edwin Sifuna, to either choose serving the party as the Secretary General or continue pushing to be elevated to serve as the Luhya political kingpin for his own selfish political gains.
As per his allegation, Kasmuel Mcoure argued that just recently, Edwin Sifuna Irked ODM party leader Hon Dr. Oburu Oginga, after he (Sifuna) painted himself as the Luhya political guardian, and addressed Siaya County Governor Hon James Orengo who had graced event as though he was the ODM party leader and failed to acknowledge Mr Oginga.
"Just recently you addressed James Orengo as if he is the senior-most leader in ODM party yet you knew very well that that our party leader Hon Oburu Oginga was there,” McOure indicated.
Aside from that, Kasmuel also alleged that in the past few days, Edwin Sifuna has been holding secret political gatherings behind the back of his ODM colleagues, a clear hint that his (Sifuna) heart and mind is focussed on sabotaging the ODM-UDA collaboration.
For that reason, Kasmuel urged Edwin Sifuna to quit his role as the ODM SG, asserting that the youths supporting the outfit are tired of his move as well as that of other leaders of Sifuna's ilk.
Before concluding his remarks, Kasmuel stated that should Sifuna continue to disrespect Oburu Oginga, it will not be long before he gets stripped off his roles and be left to walk alone in shame.
"If you continue disrespecting our party leader, you will soon be kicked out of the party. You'll be the first one to be shown the exit door before other leaders that you work with suffer the same fate." Kasmuel added.
