Political commentator Samuel Wang'ombe has alleged why Member of Parliament (MP) representing Kiharu constituency in the National Assembly Hon Ndindi Nyoro is starting to speak positively about former and impeached Deputy President of Kenya Hon Rigathi Gachagua, as the 2027 general election continues to draw near.
As per his pronouncement, Ndindi Nyoro had taken a wrong trajectory when he was speaking ill about Gachagua specifically before he went on to be impeached, but his recent move to be a credible voice for Mr Gachagua has significantly elevated his political value in the vote rich Mt Kenya region.
According to Mr Wang'ombe, even though Ndindi Nyoro had the tendency of hitting hard against Mr Gachagua, he opted to realign and started to speak positively about him after realizing that the ground is still hard and has a soft spot on the former Deputy President.
Prior to Mr Wangombe's remarks, Ndindi Nyoro had indicated that the unceremonious ouster of Rigathi Gachagua from government through an impeachment was an act of political illiteracy, and that the impact will strongly be felt in the 2027 general election by President William Ruto and his allies.
According to Ndindi Nyoro, he had really tried to pursuade those who were plotting to impeach Gachagua against the untimely move, after advising them to assess the negative impact it would have caused on those who were opposing the move.
However, the move went on to be orchestrated by political figures who were acting on orders from a higher office.
