Bishop Blasts Gachagua in Church, Declares Ruto a Two-Term President (Video)

Kenyans are in shock after a bishop openly dived into politics during a church service — and he did not hold back.

In a video now going viral online, the cleric boldly praised President William Ruto while sharply attacking former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, right from the pulpit. 

The service was attended by President Ruto, making the moment even more dramatic.

The bishop, who hails from Gatundu North, told the congregation that President Ruto has made “tremendous progress” since taking office in 2022. 

He insisted that Ruto must serve two full terms, arguing that it would be unfair for Mount Kenya voters to abandon him midway.

Warning the region against what he called political deception, the bishop urged residents not to be misled by leaders who only criticize others without offering solutions.

Without mentioning names softly, the cleric went straight for Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of trying to turn Kenyans against the President. 

Gachagua has recently urged voters not to re-elect Ruto in 2027, citing broken campaign promises — claims the bishop dismissed, saying Ruto deserves more time to deliver.

The remarks have triggered heated debate online, with many Kenyans questioning whether church leaders should take political sides.
