"Ndio Hawa" List of Leaders Who Might Face Defeat In 2027 Following Raila's Death, Reason Revealed

The death of former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga has left a deep mark on Kenya’s political landscape as the nation approaches the 2027 General Election. 

For many years, Raila stood as a central figure whose leadership shaped both the government and opposition. His departure has unsettled long-standing alliances and created uncertainty among leaders who once relied on his political strength.

President William Ruto is expected to be among those most affected by Raila’s absence. ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, a close ally of Raila, also stands at a crossroads as maintaining his influence in both party affairs and city politics becomes more challenging. In Mombasa, Governor Abdulswamad Nassir—elected on an ODM ticket—may struggle to retain his seat as the party grapples with leadership changes and internal divisions.

Across Luo Nyanza, Western, and Nairobi, many ODM leaders are expected to experience turbulent times without Raila’s unifying force. Political observers predict that his death will redefine alliances and shift Kenya’s overall political balance as the nation gears up for the next election.
