Kabando Admits What's Happening in Kisumu That Nairobi Governor Can't do Even With Ruto's Support

Former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando now says that the difference made by devolution in the country is clear for all to see.

He says that the same is openly evident in Nairobi, whose governor, despite enjoying the support of President William Ruto, is achieving close to nothing.

But he says that in Kisumu, which is allied to the opposition, very big things are happening, proof that devolution is causing a revolution in Kenya.

Kabando claims that there are no tangible projects to be seen in Nairobi, alleging that this is the Nairobi leadership is more involved in appeasing the State House than initiating projects.

"Devolution is a revolution. Many counties are being fleeced by greed, but there are isolated inspiring milestones. We can't see any tangible projects in Nairobi with its revenue servers domiciled/streamed @StateHouseKenya, while KISUMU county @AnyangNyongo is SHINING big projects," he says in a tweet.

Kisumu is considered an opposition county, with most of its inhabitants being supporters of Azimio La Umoja leader Raila Odinga.

Nairobi, on the other hand, is under the leadership of Ruto's United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party through governor Johnson Sakaja.
