“99% of Christians Are Liars, Stop Making Empty Promises to God” Pastor Ng’ang’a Warns Churchgoers

Neno Evangelism preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a has once again stirred debate after blasting Christians who make pledges in church but fail to honor them.

Speaking during a devotional service on Thursday, September 18, Pastor Ng’ang’a accused many believers of playing games with God by making false promises.

He warned that such behavior blocks blessings and creates unnecessary struggles in people’s lives.

“Why do you promise and then disappear? Ninety-nine percent of Christians are liars because they do not keep the altar pure. You raise your hands to pledge thousands, but you never give,” Ng’ang’a thundered.

The outspoken preacher claimed that many worshippers have lost boundaries when it comes to faith. According to him, some no longer differentiate between what is acceptable in Christianity and what is not.

He said this has weakened the spiritual life of believers, making them more vulnerable to temptation.

Ng’ang’a explained that some people even move from one church to another, repeating the same behavior of pledging large amounts but failing to fulfill their promises.

He added that many of them keep unfulfilled offering envelopes at home while continuing to make new pledges elsewhere.

“You cannot keep raising your hands everywhere yet your house is full of empty envelopes. This is lying to God, and that is why you do not see His hand in your lives,” he warned.

The preacher further reminded his followers that his ministry should not be mistaken for an ordinary church. He described himself as a missionary and evangelist whose main calling is to hold crusades and spread the gospel.

He pointed out that those who support his ministry are partnering with evangelism rather than a traditional church structure.

“I am not a pastor in the way you think. I am an evangelist. I go out for crusades to win souls. Recently, I preached in Siakago, Embu, because that is my mission,” he said.
