The girl was identified was Lucy Mwangi and was a form two student at one of the secondary schools in Londiani town.
She was found dead while in a sitting position in her bedroom, according to her mother's accounts.
Londiani town OCS who confirmed the incident said a suicide note left behind by the girl stated that she decided to kill herself to continue with life in another world because she can't live by drugs everyday.
Her mother said she was a polite girl and she don't believe the girl kills herself because of HIV/AIDS reasons.
She added that she had never seen the girl bring home a male friend until she decided to take away her own life.
She notted that, the girl might have taken her own life for some reasons but not HIV/AIDS as she quoted on the suicide note.
Her body was moved to Londiani town hospital mortuary pending postmortem.
Mr Waweru urged the school going children from Londiani town to refrain from involving in a no show relationships; adding that they should utilise their time so well while still in school.
He also assured them that there is time for everything.
The matter is currently under police investigations.
