DCP's Secretary for Planning and Economic Affairs, Dr. Peter Mbae, has slammed Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika for allegedly threatening the former Deputy President of Kenya, Rigathi Gachagua, ahead of his tour in Nakuru.
Governor Kihika, who was speaking ahead of the meeting, called on the former Deputy President of Kenya to avoid incitement, adding that she is not going to allow politics of intimidation.
She called on Rigathi to sell his agenda and avoid engaging in politics of division.
"Everyone is welcome to Nakuru. Come and sell your agenda to the people. Nakuru County is a small country. We have people from all over Kenya living here, so we don't want politics of division," Susan Kihika said.
Dr. Mbae, who took to Facebook to confirm this news, said that the Governor does not have a right to threaten the former Deputy President of Kenya.
Meanwhile, Rigathi has said that he is still going to Nakuru, adding that the Governor should be blamed if anything happens to him.
Rigathi also called on Kenyans to back the opposition in the upcoming general elections in Kenya.
He revealed that the opposition will front one candidate who will face the President. According to Rigathi, residents of Mount Kenya will put their votes in one basket.
