'Shock as Bodies of Two Unidentified Persons Found Dumped in Septic Tank Near Commercial Building

Detectives in Mbale Town, Vihiga County, have launched investigations after two unidentified bodies were discovered inside a septic tank behind a commercial building.

The discovery was made after residents complained of a foul smell coming from the premises. 

Their concerns prompted a call to local authorities, who arrived at the scene and uncovered the bodies stuffed inside the tank.

Police officers, assisted by locals, retrieved the remains and transferred them to the mortuary for preservation a postmortem examination and identification.

Authorities have appealed to members of the public to provide any information that could help in tracing the victims’ identities or explain the circumstances leading to their deaths. 

Families with missing relatives have also been urged to visit the mortuary or report to the nearest police station to help with identification.

Residents of Mbale Town have expressed fear and concern following the discovery, calling on authorities to increase security and speed up investigations.

Local leaders have urged calm and encouraged residents to cooperate fully with police to ensure justice is served.
