The victim was identified as 21-year-old Basilio Mungathia.
The incident took place on Saturday night. Police reported that the confrontation unfolded inside a local bar where patrons had gathered for leisure activities.
An argument developed between Mungathia and a woman who was also present at the establishment.
The disagreement escalated into a physical confrontation within the premises. During the altercation, the woman stabbed Mungathia, inflicting injuries that proved fatal.
Other customers at the bar reacted with alarm as the violence erupted and the young man collapsed.
Police officers received a report of the incident and rushed to the scene shortly after it occurred.
Upon arrival, officers found Mungathia with serious stab wounds and confirmed that he had died from his injuries.
