In a video now doing rounds online, Pastor Victor Kanyari was seen calling Marion to the pulpit, praying for her and even gifting her KSh50,000 in front of the congregation.
This comes weeks after Marion went viral following videos that exposed her lowest moment, attracting both sympathy and heavy criticism online.
Many had already formed opinions, but nobody expected a church appearance to become the next chapter.
From the video, Marion stood beside Pastor Kanyari as he spoke to her, laid hands on her for prayers and later handed her the cash. The moment looked emotional, but social media as usual, had mixed feelings.
Some Kenyans felt that the move was not genuine and Kanyari was chasing clout with her. Others had more deeper reactions after he asked for her number and told her that he'll be calling often.
