A massive fire broke out on Saturday afternoon behind Garden City Mall in Kasarani Constituency, Nairobi, causing panic among residents and motorists in the area.

The fire was first spotted shortly after midday, with thick black smoke rising high into the sky and visible from several parts of the city. Images and videos shared on social media showed large flames consuming a property located a short distance from the busy shopping mall.
