Glimpse Inside Moses Wetangula's Posh Residence in Nairobi's Karen

Moses Wetangula is the Current Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya after being elected on September 8, 2022.

Wetangula is one of the veteran politicians having spent over three decades in Kenyan politics.

Wetangula who is famous by his moniker Papa Wa Roma was nominated by KANU in 1992 before serving as the MP for Sirisia from 2003 to 2013. He then served as the Bungoma Senator from 2013 to 2022. He has held senior government posts including the Minister of Trade and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He went to Nalondo Primary School, then joined Teremi Secondary School and Friends School Kamusinga for A-Level education before being admitted to the University of Nairobi, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.

Wetangula is among the leaders who live largely. Wetangula who has kept a private life on the media in 2021 gave Kenyans a rare glimpse of his posh house located in Nairobi.

At a glance, the charming home, reminiscent of a transitional style design, mixes contemporary and traditional elements to have the best of both worlds.

The home has large windows that draw in a lot of natural light in the living room that also features a fireplace.

The high ceiling in the living room boasts brown wooden blocks fixed in a parallel pattern which complement the beige colour of the wall.

Karen itself is synonymous with luxury estates, greenery, and exclusivity—Wetangula's place fits right into that "billionaire paradise" vibe seen in the suburb's high-profile properties.
