CNN Correspondent Larry Madowo Responds After Being Confronted by Ugandas CDF General Muhoozi

Uganda's Chief of Defence Forces General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has hit out at CNN Correspondent Larry Madowo over his posts about him.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), Larry shared Muhoozi's posts after he threatened to kill National Unity Platform President Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

Muhoozi alleged that Uganda People's Defence Forces soldiers killed over 20 terrorists belonging to NUP, adding he was hoping the next one would be Bobi Wine alias Kabobi.

Larry shared these posts on social media, a move that caught General Muhoozi Kainerugaba's attention.

In a post on X, Muhoozi claimed Larry is being used by the West to target African countries. "Why don't you call me by my name Larry.

How long will you kiss the West pretending to represent us," Muhoozi said. Madowo asked his followers if he should respond to the General.

He also shared videos of polling station officers allegedly ticking votes for President Yoweri Museveni in the recent elections where the President was declared winner.

Museveni alleged majority of his voters didn't turn out, adding he'd have embarrassed the opposition.
