Pathologist States Rare Thing he Witnessed on Ex-MP Heart That Wouldn't Allow Him Survive The Crash

On Wednesday 17th, December 2025, pathologists who were conducting an autopsy on former Lugari constituency Member of Parliament (MP) late Cyrus Jirongo, gave an exclusive report, regarding part of their findings that led to the untimely death of the former Cabinet Minister.

While making their revelations, the pathologist who was representing Cyrus Jirongo's family disclosed that the deceased died as a result of blunt force trauma, after enduring a fatal road crash, that left part of his body parts including the legs, spine, abdomen and chest severely injured.

However, while making their remarks, one of the pathologist, Dr. Martin Wanyoike, who deals with diseases and disorders that affect the heart gave a revelation of what he witnessed on the deceased heart, that would allow him (Joringo) survive the fatal road crash.

According to his statement, Martin Wanyoike indicated that as he was examining the heart of the ex- MP, he witnessed a very rare and severe injury to the heart that made Mr Jirongo not to survive.

The trauma he had endured had ruptured his left ventricle that is responsible for pumping blood to the entire body parts or parts far from the heart, and had also raptured the aorta, the largest blood vessel in the human body that transports blood rich in oxygen from the heart to the rest of the body.

As a specialized heart doctor, Martin Wanyoike indicated that such types of injuriesare usually not compatible with the human heart.
