Nairobi: A Woman Walks Into a Lodging to Have Fun With a Man Before the Unexpected Happened

Cases of sudden deaths in lodgings continue to worry residents across Kenya, and the latest incident in Kilimani, Nairobi County, has added to the growing concern.

Police in the area have opened investigations after a young man died in a shocking fall from a tall lodging building.

The incident took place on Sunday, November thirty, along Kindaruma Road.

Kilimani Police Commander Patricia Yegon confirmed that the victim has been identified as Lee Owino.

She also said a forty-eight-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the case.

According to early findings, Owino and his girlfriend checked into the lodging on Friday, November twenty-eight, for a weekend stay.

On Saturday night they were joined by a male friend, and the three reportedly drank together until the early hours of Sunday.

The woman later told police that the friend left shortly after, and an argument broke out between her and Owino.

She claimed that Owino attacked her, and she asked him to leave the room.

Investigators believe the confrontation moved to the balcony, where she is suspected of pushing him over the railing.

She then went back to sleep without checking what had happened.

Security guards were the first to discover the body after hearing a loud thud.

They found Owino lying with no clothes on top of a parked car, and a viral video captured guards calling for help as they tried to understand what had happened.

Police recovered drugs and empty alcohol bottles inside the apartment.

Detectives are now searching for the male friend who left earlier, as they hope he will provide more details on the events that led to the tragic fall.
