Jirongo's Wife Exposes What Stranger Told Her in a Call Using Jirongo's Phone Minutes After Crash

Anne Lanoi, the widow of the late Cyrus Jirongo, has publicly recounted how a stranger informed her of her husband's tragic road accident.

She disclosed this during the memorial mass service held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Christ Is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), Valley Road, Nairobi.

Anne Lanoi expressed that the night her husband passed away was one of the most challenging nights she had ever experienced, as she was unable to sleep due to a profound sense of unease.

She described how she felt an overwhelming sense that something was terribly wrong, which kept her awake throughout the night.

At 3 AM, she was still awake when her husband's phone began to ring but to her surprise, it was a stranger calling from his phone.

Upon answering the call, the stranger inquired if she knew the owner of the phone, to which she replied affirmatively, stating that he was her husband.

It was at that moment that she learned of Cyrus Jirongo's involvement in a fatal road accident in Naivasha, and that he was currently in an unconscious state.
