The attackers allegedly targeted the MPs Bungoma County home late at night after the rally led by Natembeya.
Citing recent tensions in the area, Kalasinga asserted that the attack was politically motivated to bring him down.
Although no one has been arrested as of now, local authorities have opened an investigation into the situation.

The mother was rushed to the hospital were she is receiving medical care, and currently in stable condition .
