Kenyans In Tears As Last Words Rose Muthoni Told Her Hubby After Stabbing Her Resurface Online "Mtoto Wangu"

A family in Juja, Kiambu County, is mourning after a woman, Rose Muthoni, was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband. 

The tragedy unfolded in the presence of the couple’s househelp, Tracy, who has now shared a chilling account of Rose’s final moments.

According to Tracy, the day began like any other. Rose left home for work in the morning, while her husband returned unusually early. Instead of his regular late-night arrival, he came back at midday. 

He spent much of the afternoon on his phone before turning to a violent movie. 

At one point, he remarked that bad-hearted people should die in the same way the character in the film had been killed. The statement unsettled Tracy, but she kept quiet.

Later, he made a video call to Rose, telling her their child was unwell and urging her to come home quickly. 

Rose explained that she was still busy at work and would arrive later. 

When she eventually returned, she complained of stomach discomfort and walked into the kitchen to prepare coffee. 

She asked for a knife, but none was in sight until her husband suddenly threw one onto the floor.

Rose questioned why he had kept the knife hidden when she had been searching for one. Moments later, screams filled the house. 

Tracy rushed to the kitchen and found Rose lying on the floor with a stab wound to her chest. 

In a desperate attempt to help, she tried to intervene but was attacked and injured before managing to escape.

As life slipped away, Rose’s thoughts were on her child. She reportedly told Tracy, “You have really helped me. Please, take care of my baby.” Those words, Tracy said, continue to haunt her.

The incident has left the community shaken. Many have praised Tracy’s bravery in risking her own life for the safety of the child, while others have expressed anger that another life has been lost through domestic violence.
